Shantaé & Cameron

Our journey started on Upward, where a few days of wonderful conversation led to our first face-to-face meeting—right after one of Cameron’s trips from Mississippi to Houston. We met just once, and since then, we’ve been inseparable. From that day forward, we’ve traveled across the country and the world together, creating unforgettable memories. However, what truly matters is how we continue to support each other in our walk with Christ. Cameron faithfully plays the drums, and I (Shantaé) sing on the praise team. Our relationship is grounded in faith, purpose, and a shared passion for ministry. We’re thankful to Upward for bringing us together, but let’s just say—we deleted the app right after we met. We both realized: this was it. We had found the one God created for us. We got engaged on April 30, 2025, and we’re thrilled to be getting married on July 5, 2025! Thank you to everyone at Upward—and most importantly, thank God for crafting this beautiful love story!
