Celina & Benjamin

I had been searching for the one and finally ended up making a list of exactly what I wanted and prayed for him. I decided to download Upward and give it a shot. I saw Benjamin's picture and noticed he was on fire for the Lord. I loved everything he had to say in his bio. He reached out to me, and we exchanged numbers. That same day, we talked on the phone for hours. After that, we talked every night, and he would read me stories from the Bible before we went to bed. We decided to meet at my church after we had long, intentional conversations and watched a service together. The day we met landed on Valentine's Day! That night, as I was looking over at him, I knew he was the one for me. The next day, I went to a soccer game with him and saw the way he was with the kids on his soccer team. After seeing the love he had for the Lord and children, I knew he would be a great husband. I ended up meeting his parents, and his parents met mine, so we decided to start courting. I stayed at his parents' house for a couple of weeks so that we could all get to know each other. After two weeks, he proposed to me. Two weeks into being engaged, we went to Florida and got married on the beach on April 4th. The first time we kissed was at the altar, and it was so worth the wait. Praise God! He is so good.
