From divorcees to finding new love. Story submitted by Jasmine.

Travis and I connected on the Upward app in December 2022. We met on January 1, 2023, and have been inseparable ever since. Although he lives in Houston and I in the Austin Metropolitan area, we believe that our union was brought together by God's providence. In a short time, we have experienced so much of life together that we know we want to continue doing life together. After nearly a year of dating, Travis is considering moving closer to me in Austin, and we have also discussed the possibility of getting engaged and having a destination wedding. Our families and friends are supportive of us and have encouraged us to seek God's guidance throughout our relationship. Having both gone through divorce, we are committed to making our relationship work and have sought wise counsel to ensure that Christ remains at the center of our courtship. I am grateful to say that this is the healthiest relationship I have ever been in, and that is because Travis and I are both emotionally and mentally healthy.
