Another Upward Testimony:

We met on Upward in December of 2020 and started talking around Christmas. Met up at a local coffee shop in January and talked for a few hours. We both left the date saying we wanted to do this again. We had a second lunch date and got to know each other more. On our third date he brought me flowers, we went to the aquarium and got lunch. That night we sat on the beach and talked about life and Jesus. That was the moment everything really changed for us. We both know from then on there was something different. We kept seeing each other and getting to know each other more and more. He asked me to be his girlfriend February 2, 2021 with a huge teddy bear and the sweetest note that he read to me.
Since then, we’ve spent a lot of time together laughing, crying, talking about Jesus and family and our individual lives and the life we’re pursuing together.
We go to a nondenominational church in Mobile, AL! Both of us have been on dating apps for a little while before meeting each other but never had any luck. I love upward because of its Christian values!
