Another Upward Testimony:
I downloaded the app in early March and met my boyfriend on March 26th. The first 3 months after our match we focus on getting to know each other. So we started out as an intentional friendship, to be honest, the quarantine situation helped that haha. Then, after 3 months of building this intentional friendship, we finally had our first in-person date on June 26th, and there we started dating for real real haha.
We are in a long-distance relationship. I live in PA and he lives in Maryland, so we decided to meet in Dover - Delaware, as it is halfway between us. We spent the weekend there, he cooked for me on Saturday and on Sunday we went to the beach. He is everything I prayed for and more. Seeing that God answered my prayers in a way that I never thought would be possible amazes me every time and helps me to believe and hope for the incredible things that God has for my life.
Their advice to Upward members? Have a purpose, have in mind what you're looking for, don't settle for less, and put your expectations in God.
