Another Upward Testimony:

Our story began on May 25, 2020, when we began messaging each other on the FTH app (Upward). Soon after messaging one another, we both realized we wanted to FaceTime to get to know each other better. After the first FaceTime, we both felt an immediate connection. We quickly discovered we both have the same values and that we were both looking for a relationship that centered around Jesus. After many more FaceTime’s and getting to know each other, we decided we wanted to meet in person. After months of planning, I finally made the trip to Boston to meet her! We spent 3 days together exploring the city and enjoying the first time being physically with one another. By the end of the trip, we made our faith-based relationship official. Since then, we have continued to travel to see one another as much as possible while on a college budget. Although the distance between us can be challenging, we are so grateful to have met on the app and we continue to see that God has a plan and future for us. One of the things we have been able to do while being long-distance is watching church together through a live stream weekly, as well as doing a couples devotional.
