On October 7th, 2022, I matched and exchanged my first messages with JJ on the Upward app. We continued talking and realized that we had a lot in common. We exchanged messages and I found out that 2 months before we started talking he had lost his girlfriend to suicide. So with that in mind, I wanted to first become his friend and really pour into him because I knew he really needed that. So on October 8th, we met in Walmart that’s the day he met my baby girl, and Lord did she fall in love with him. So after Walmart, he came over later that night and met my family and my other babies. On October 10th he asked me to be his girlfriend. That Tuesday we went on our very first date we had a really great time! From there we moved in together (I know that’s why I sound crazy LOL) and now as of November 2 2023 we are now married.
