Our journey began in an unexpected way! We first connected on the Upward Christian dating app and it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to us. We were both looking for a friend and found that in each other. Our friendship helped us strengthen our relationship with God in a unique way. We often prayed for each other, shared scriptures, and made each other laugh every day. As we grew closer, we developed a deep love and connection that has made us inseparable. Our first in-person meeting was a walk with our dog Zo, who gave us his approval with a wag of his tail. We loved spending time together, whether it was grabbing a bite or catching a movie. On December 23, 2022, we got engaged! Even though we haven't been together for a full year, it feels like we've known each other for a lifetime. We're excited to see where life and God take us on this journey. It's been wonderful sharing this moment with our family, friends, and loved ones.
